Our Summer Party is here! Noria invites you to a vibrant gathering dedicated to celebrating and honouring our North African/Arab and Latin American communities. A space built for us, by us. Come party with the Noria Collective and a curated lineup of workshops, performances, and live DJ session celebrating our shared heritage!
Event Schedule
3:00–4:00pm | Heritage Zine Drop-in Workshop
Celebrate your roots through creativity in this relaxed, drop-in workshop. Together we'll create a personal heritage zine that captures the people, places and traditions that have shaped who you are.
Using colours, drawing and creative writing, exploring home, food, clothes, etc.
No artistic experience is needed—this is a space for creativity, reflection and conversation. Whether you're reconnecting with your heritage or celebrating the many identities you hold, everyone is welcome.
As a keepsake, you'll also have the opportunity to make and take home a handmade friendship bracelet as a symbol of connection and community.

4:30–5:30pm | Dabke x Bullerengue: Dance Across Diasporas
Join us for a joyful movement workshop that brings together two powerful traditions of collective dance and resistance: Dabke from the SWANA region and Bullerengue, an Afro-Colombian musical and dance tradition.
This interactive workshop invites participants to explore the history, cultural significance and shared spirit of these traditions while learning the rhythms, movements and stories that have travelled across generations. Through dance, we'll reflect on identity, migration, resistance and belonging, discovering the connections between communities across different parts of the world.
Bullerengue Circle is a London-based collective fostering a community where people come together to celebrate and learn about the Afro-Colombian tradition of Bullerengue. Through drumming, singing, dancing and collective participation, they honour ancestral knowledge while creating spaces for connection, joy and belonging.
The rueda (circle)—the symbolic space where Bullerengue takes place—invites everyone, regardless of experience, to reconnect with their creativity, self-expression and collective power through the living rhythms of Bullerengue.
Juzour Dance Collective brings together five women with roots across the SWANA region, including Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Iran and Sudan.
Using movement, particularly Dabke, they celebrate shared histories, collective resilience and transnational solidarity. Through dance they create spaces where communities connect across borders, honour cultural traditions and imagine more just and connected futures together.
No dance experience is required—just bring your curiosity and willingness to move.
Evening Performances

Join us for an evening of live music, dance and celebration as artists from across our communities share performances rooted in culture, heritage and collective joy.

Together, these performances celebrate the richness of our many cultures while creating space to dance, connect and celebrate together.

We’ll have food stalls during the day, Food has always been a powerful way of bringing communities together, and we invite everyone to stay, eat and enjoy these moments of togetherness before we say goodbye.
