This was our official launch event, a special and powerful gathering of creativity, conversation, and solidarity where we explored the importance of working together, creative resistance, and reimagining community. It was an evening celebrating our journey thus far and uplifting our communities through the power of the Arts.
We had an inspiring lineup with a spoken word performance, thought-provoking panel, and a live DJ set that kept the energy going! Funded by the Coop.

Spoken Words
Spoken words performance by Leo Boix, an Argentine-British poet, translator and journalist based in the UK. He is the author of Ballad of a Happy Immigrant and Southernmost Sonnets.
Live DJ Session
Live DJ with Tabideee, a British-Sudanese Civil Engineer, founder of design studio Space Black and an international DJ. Her sonic practice pays homage to Black genres contribution to electronic and dance music, with an ode to Afro Arab sounds.
